We are South Australia’s largest and only full-time multicultural community radio station. We broadcast in over 40 languages each week, with the help of over 200 volunteers and with the support of our member ethnic groups, state and federal government and our many local supporters.

After several delays due to the covid-19 crisis, our annual Radiothon is on again.

This year, without an Open Day, it’s 100% Open Heart!

From Monday 30th November to Sunday 6th December, our multicultural broadcasters will ask you to support us. Please give generously!

Over the phone: 08 8211 7066

In person: 10, Byron Place, Adelaide 5000

We are very pleased to announce our newest Life Member Dieter Fabig.

Dieter has been a stalwart of 5EBI for almost forty years, and a pillar of the German and wider multicultural communities of South Australia.

Nowadays, Dieter is perhaps best known as the presenter of our daily programme Morning Music Vitamins (Mon-Fri 9:00-11:00) and the German Voice programmes, entertaining and informing our listeners with his uniquely warm and dynamic voice and character, in English and in his native German tongue.

For many years, Dieter was also involved with our long-standing Saturday evening music programme International Rendezvous and our weekly sports programmes EBI Sport and Football Plus, and took on several roles on the Executive Board of EBI throughout the years. He is currently the Chairperson of the German Voice Association Inc. and the Treasurer of EBI Inc.

Dieter joins the ranks of our eight other life members, whose portraits are on display on the lobby wall at the station.
