Established in 2008, the annual Governor’s Multicultural Awards celebrates the achievements and contributions of individuals, organisations, and communities in South Australia.

Presented by His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AC, Governor of South Australia, the 2020 awards winners were announced last 16 March 2021 at the Government House, Adelaide.

During the said event, multicultural community radio 5EBI 103.1FM received the Media Award and was recognised for its active role in radio broadcasting for the last 45 years advocating for multiculturalism in South Australia.
