Marielba Bortone is a professional with qualifications in marketing and advertising, focusing energy and desire around creating and coordinating world-class events, delivering them in Adelaide and overseas including Dominican Republic, Panama and Venezuela.

She is also a talented host and MC, emerging comedian and entertainer, recognised through networks as a dynamic personality with a charismatic sense of humour. With a passion for increasing community inclusion, building good relationships and expanding networks across a diverse cultural community.

Marielba developed her career in Event Management for more than ten years in native Venezuela, as well as in the marketing department for Phillip Morris International.

In 2011, moving to Adelaide, Australia where beginning working as a volunteer in Radio Adelaide and developing entrepreneurial skills building the business “Sparkling Productions”. Through Sparkling Productions, partnering with a variety of organisations such as Warner Brothers, Marion City Council, Adelaide University, Rotaract Club, Relationships Australia, and Adelaide Council “Splash Adelaide”.

In 2020, due to the impact the pandemic had on events, directing time and energy into volunteering with the Latin American Society of South Australia (LASSA). The Latin American community had many people seeking support and she was able to use her marketing, advertising and networking skills to help promote the LASSA cause through producing videos on social media. This included interviewing Latin American entrepreneurs to showcase their product or services in addition to building the social media channels of this organisation.

In 2021 she had the opportunity to work for MCCSA & ECCNSW producing content for SBS radio as well as interviewing people in a podcast called Speak My Language where she interviewed people from diverse background on how to live well with a disability. This job inspired her to create a new radio show called WE ARE SUCCESS, the voice of multicultural business.
