Radiothon 2024 
5EBI’s annual Radiothon is happening in October, starting on Monday 21st and finishing with our public Open Day on Sunday 27th.

We are always grateful for the tremendous support from our dedicated listeners and volunteer and of course hope to again this year. The money donated during the week is absolutely vital to keep 5EBI on-air.
Monies received from Radiothon 2024 will primarily be used to upgrade studio facilities. Listeners are updated throughout the week on donations received and the target hoping to be achieved. This year we are hoping to raise $50,000 for much needed studio upgrades including:-
- Computer screens x 6
- Microphones x 11
- CD Players x 4
- USB Players x 3
- Lighting – across all 3 studios
- Digital Clocks - 2 for each studio (x 6)
- Presenters Chairs x 11
- New Telephone system for our Studios and Offices
- Computer CD Library
Much of the equipment our broadcasters use today is over 20 years old, and with daily heavy use, you can only imagine the importance of us refreshing this vital tools of our trade!

Open Day on Sunday 27th October is especially important for its social networking opportunity, to bring our volunteers and multicultural broadcast groups together with listeners and dignitaries, for an afternoon of fun and entertainment. It’s a lighthearted day enjoyed by all ... and YOU are welcome to attend.
