Radiothon

Radiothon is a seven day event (Monday to Sunday) culminating in an Open Day on the Sunday afternoon.

Each year member groups and program providers are encouraged to seek donations from listeners during while broadcasting and acknowledge donations on air as they come in.

Monies received from Radiothon, which has been running almost as long as the station has been broadcasting, are used to upgrade studio equipment and facilities, as well as helping to cover the station's day-to-day running costs.

Listeners are updated regularly throughout the week on donations received and our progress on reaching the target we hope to achieve.

On the Radiothon Open Day the station relies heavily on its loyal sponsors who provide products for the Gourmet BBQ, salads, cakes, drinks for the bar and raffle prizes. The day brings groups, volunteers and staff together for an afternoon of fun and entertainment. It’s a day enjoyed by all who attend.

Donations can be made to the Sation at anytime throughout the year, as well as during Radiothon. This can be done through our website, paid directly into the station's general account or in person at the station. Call our Admin number, 08 8211 7635, for more information.
